The Youth Ministry of the Wiamoase New Town Seventh-day Adventist Church joyfully dedicated its newly procured drums and trumpets to the glory of God on Sabbath, 23rd May, 2026.
The dedication service was officiated by Pastor Andy Daniel Owusu-Botah, Youth and Music Director of the Mountain View Ghana Conference (MVGC). In his dedication message, he admonished the youth that after dedicating these instruments to God, they had become sacred items set apart for His service and should therefore not be used for “soloku” or any activity that does not glorify God. He encouraged the youth to use the instruments reverently in outreach programs, evangelistic campaigns, and other activities that advance the mission of the church.
The occasion was marked by gratitude, praise, and thanksgiving to God for making it possible for the church youth to acquire these musical instruments. The drums and trumpets will significantly enhance youth drilling activities, evangelistic campaigns, and other church programs.
